Chem-Dry (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. was incorporated in January 1988 and started operation the same year in Kuala Lumpur. In 1993, with about five years experience behind it, Chem-Dry (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. started expanding within Malaysia by franchising.
